Things I LOVE: Spring/Summer 2011 Pt.1

With warmer weather around the corner, I have a ton of things that I just must purchase before the return of cold temperatures. I have to admit, the one thing I love about the South is our warmer weather. Around March is when my fashion sense kicks in and I start making a wish list. I love dresses and this year I am going to try to break away from my normal lil black dress. I have to admit that the reason I love a good black dress is because I can wear ANY color eyeshadow, however there are two problems. The first is that black dresses tend to attract more heat. The second thing is... dark colors attract mosquitos. I take frequent trips home to Louisiana, and there is nothing like coming in from a patio dinner with a dozen or more bites (and I hate OFF... it never smells good with my JS Fancy perfume). I digress... here are a few of my must haves for this season.

1.White Dress- I think that because I am accident prone, I am afraid of getting it dirty before leaving the house, but a crisp white dress can certainly replace my typical black.

2. A Nude Nail Polish- I am usually a baby pink girl, but I went out and purchased OPI's Leotard Optional and fell in love! A hint of pink to a very neutral color...

3.Wooden Platform Sandal- saving the best for last. I have one pair that I bought from Bakers over 3 years ago, but I have had my eye on these Jessica Simpsons for about 2 weeks...

I'MMMM BAAAACKKKK.... for a sec...

I haven't been blogging since I started this thing, but I decided to show my face for a few days at least. My LONG hiatus has been due to working full time, being in school and (drum roll, please) being in a relationship.... unexpected. All three of those things are hard work and there never seems like enough hours in the day to get every thing completed.

Blogging was suppose to be my escape from the serious world, but there's no escape!!! Lol. I will try to hit you all with the newest things going on. I have so much to say! Fashion, weight loss, relationship stuff, moving (Dallas to Irving), MAKE-UP! All I have to do is find the time. For now let me talk about my upcoming weeks...

For all that know me, my birthday is this month and I am SUPER stoked!! I'm turning 28 and really feel youthful. I have decided to have a close family and friends dinner and then I am leaving for a weekend with my best friend, Kiley, in Atlanta. With all of that going on I am packing my world up and moving (and yes, all in the same weekend) to Irving. Living off the North Dallas Tollway is expensive, so I am relocating to put that money in a bigger apartment.

Other than my crazy end of the month, I have been studying. I was suppose to be getting into some free lance make up jobs, but I'm not really feeling the "doing other people's make-up" part, I'll keep you posted.
