The Hunt Continues...

As a plus size chick, every now and then it just happens to be refreshing that I find a store or website that caters to my taste AND my size. But with help of fellow bloggers and random boredom, I have come upon some really good sites that offer the best of both worlds. I am no where close to being a fashionista, I just love clothes. I love that feeling I get when I walk into a store and I see "it". Now the first thing that goes into my mind is "OMG, I must have it!!!, " and the second thing is "do they have my size?!?!?!" If I'm in the right store, my worries are subtle, but if I'm in a general woman's store, my anxiety reaches a peak.


I do have a fear of online purchasing, but I see that will have to change. This morning I stumbled upon the Curvaceous Boutique ( http://www.curvaceousboutique.com/). It's a boutique created by the beautiful Cassandra Savage. Her motto is simple and can be seen in every piece of clothing on her website: "... we take you from everyday to runway..." Introduction to My New Project

So I woke up this morning and thought to myself "V (as my friends call me), you need a project"... ok, ok, ok, so I have had many projects in life, but I needed something continuous. Something to keep me motivated. I have a friend who started his own blog about his life changes and transformations, and he has some GOOD stuff. He had a lot to talk about and so do I, it's just putting it all together that's going to be my problem. I'm sporadic. Because of this, the question was "what in the heck am I blogging about?!!?!!" I like many things: fashion, make-up, hair, youtube (love itttt!!!!), shopping, eating, health/exercise, and the list goes on and on. I'm a do-it-yourself kinda girl, but I know that what works for me may not always work for others... This is NOT an advice blog. I could never hold that kind of responsibility in my hands...

A little about me...
I'm 27 years young, single, no kids and loving life every minute of the day! I'm happy chick! I currently reside in Dallas, TX. I like it here, but it is hopefully not my final residence. Originally from the best state in the US: Louisiana. So yes, I love crawfish, boudin, greens, hot water cornbread, the whole 9 yards. I'm country with a little city. Meaning that as good at Southern Classic fried chicken may sound, at times I really just want some sushi (preferably tuna with a side if eel sauce).

It usually takes me about 2 weeks to get the hang of stuff, so be patient with me... I'M LEARNING, lol...
